A Few Common Questions Answered
What happens on the admissions call?
An admissions advisor will reach out shortly to confirm next steps. The call is relaxed and judgment-free. They listen first, answer questions, and walk through what coming to Valley Spring looks like.
How does the insurance check work?
It's free and there's no obligation. We accept most private insurance plans and walk you through what your plan covers before you decide anything. We don't accept Medicaid or Medicare.
Can I keep working?
Yes. Evenings run 6–9 pm, Monday to Friday, three or five nights, in person or online. If you need the day program, our case managers handle the FMLA, short-term disability and return-to-work paperwork.
Can I apply for someone I love?
Yes. Start the application for them and we'll talk with you first. They'll need to agree to treatment themselves, and our family program includes you in the process.
What if I'm not sure I'm ready?
That's normal. Our counselors use motivational interviewing, which is built for people who aren't sure yet. The call is free, and there's no commitment.
What happens after treatment?
Every client leaves with a written aftercare plan covering ongoing therapy, peer support, sober living recommendations, and case management. The support doesn't stop at discharge.
